03 Vector Portrait Post

Directions:
Use the spaces below as a template for your vector portrait blog post. Answer each question in complete sentences. Write as though you are explaining your work to someone who has never used Adobe Illustrator.

1. Upload your finished Vector Portraits.
In Illustrator:

File>Export
Choose File Type: JPEG
Choose Color Space RGB
In Blog:

Click Dashboard
Hover cursor over “Posts” and click “Add New”
Click on Add Media at the top of the page editor
Make sure that your file size is full size on the bottom left before adding it in your post.

2. Upload an image of you Vector Portrait with some of the layers hidden to give a sense of how it was created.
In Illustrator:
Hide your shadow and highlight layers
Export following the steps above
In Blog:
Upload following steps above

3. Upload an image of your Vector Portrait in outline view
In Illustrator:
Show all Vector layers
Hide Photo layer
Click View>Outlines or Ctrl + Y
Click the Windows Start button at the bottom left of your screen
Launch the Snipping Tool application by single clicking it from the start menu
Use the cursor to click and drag across your vector self portrait in outline mode
In the dialogue box that pops up, click save in the upper left and save the image to your home folder
In Blog:
Upload following the steps above
