Pen Tool Practice

1. Open Pen Tool Tutorial and Copy and Paste the link in your browser.

2. Then, open Adobe Illustrator and create a new document.

3. Go to View at the top of the page and select Smart Guides. This will turn these guides off.

4. Set your fill to None and follow the steps to familiarize yourself with the pen tool. 

 

If you complete the tutorial, raise your hand and I will explain the next steps. 5.1, 5.2, and 5.3 pen practice will be graded.

Last day in class to work on Graphic Artist Presentations

This will be our last day in class to work on our graphic artist presentations. We will present next week. If you are done with your presentation, you have two worksheets to complete. These will be your first grades in Graphics.

Part 1: Today is another workday on our Graphic Artist Presentations. We will be presenting them Next week.

Part 2: We are going to use the images you collected during the Graphic Design Webquest.

Directions:
1. In the same PowerPoint file, Create 4 new slides. Title the first: Contrast, the second: Repetition, the third: Alignment, and the fourth: Proximity.
2. Define each term on the appropriate PowerPoint Slide.
3. Browse your collection of images from the Webquest and put them on the slides you feel describes them best. You can gather more images if you feel you need to.

 

When finished: Save as: Lastnamepresentation to your home folder and grab an Illustrator worksheet from me. Link for worksheet: http://www.vectordiary.com/illustrator/what-is-illustrator/
